Peter Pavlidakey, MD

Dr. Peter Pavlidakey is a native of Clearwater, Florida. He received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, in Cleveland Ohio. Where is served as chief resident during his fourth year. His residency was followed by two fellowships. The first was Dermatopathology at the University of Alabama At Birmingham. Followed by a Bone and Soft tissue fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. Pavlidakey is board-certified in anatomic, clinical, and dermatopathology. He has been Director of Dermatopathology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since 2015.
Dr. Pavlidakey is an active participant in local and national meetings, with numerous residents presenting at the American Society of Dermatopathology, American Academy of Dermatology, and International Society of Dermatopathology annual meetings. He is also is an active participant in the Alabama Dermatology Society. He has dedicated his career to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
